C's Win Fifth Straight

Tonight was Paul Pierce's night, as he passed Larry Bird and moved into second place on the Celtics' all-time scoring list. Pierce finished with 15 points, eight rebounds and nine assists in the Celtics' 94-84 win over the Bobcats Tuesday night at TD Garden.

Kevin Garnett continued his strong play by putting up a game-high 22 points. Rajon Rondo finished with 10 points, 14 assists and zero turnovers.

The Boston Celtics and the Army National Guard will welcome home New England soldiers from their mission in Iraq and Afghanistan during January. Soldiers will be spotlighted during games, allowing the crowd to give their thanks for the soldiers’ service. The month will be highlighted by Seats For Soldiers Night on Jan. 18.
