Manager, Inside Sales (formerly Manager, New Business Development)

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the Leadership of the ongoing development of a powerful sales and marketing culture founded on personal accountability to MS&E's mission, vision and values through Catering to Customers, both internal and external. Primary focus is on people and self-development and continuous learning to achieve Inside Sales team goals. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

    Suite Services Coordinator

    SUMMARY:
    This position is responsible for providing a wide range of support to the Corporate Partnership department, specifically in Suite Business Development. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

    SUMMARY:
    Primary responsibility is to enhance the personal and business relationships of all potential customers by identifying and understanding their needs, and then customizing recommendations to meet and exceed those needs. Main focus will be to build our Sacramento Kings season ticket business, but overall sales will include other Maloof Sports & Entertainment brands. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

    Corporate Sales Manager

    SUMMARY:
    This position will primarily be responsible for developing Strategic Alliances for a select group of corporate partners within the Maloof Sports & Entertainment family of brands, which are fully integrated, long-term and focused on the unique objectives and priorities of each individual partner. The critical success factors are listening and learning discovery skills combined with the creative ability to assist in the design of innovative, co-branded activation components to complement the assets of each brand and maximize return on investment for each partner. Leveraging the Maloof brands to generate extraordinary impact on behalf of our partners will be based on a comprehensive analysis of each partner's business-building objectives and opportunities. The position is responsible for creating and selling a specifically tailored plan to senior decision-makers, which result in strategic commitments to co-branded association with Maloof brands. In addition, this position will have the responsibility of growing established partnerships in association with the Partner Services team during the term of agreements as well as at renewal.     SUMMARY:
    The Partner Business Manager delivers unique value to Maloof Sports & Entertainment's corporate partners through the business management and implementation of all contractual assets.     SUMMARY:
    This position is responsible for providing championship-caliber service to all guests of the Sacramento Kings and Power Balance Pavilion. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve unusual/adverse situations using a quick response approach and making sound decisions based on available facts.

    Ticket Sales Representative

    SUMMARY:
    The Ticket Sales Representative position is a great opportunity to start a sales career in the sports industry. Many of the industry's most prominent executives got their start selling tickets. This is not for the faint of heart or for someone who doesn't deal well in an aggressive environment. The ideal candidate is driven, focused, and passionate about starting a sales career in the sports industry, can overcome strong obstacles, possesses a strong work ethic, and has the determination to succeed in a highly competitive, fast paced work environment. The Ticket Sales Representatives are responsible for achieving individual sales goals and are continually coached and evaluated to maximize individual and team performance. Top performers will be considered for advancement into our full-time Account Executive positions.

    WAGE:
    $8.00/hour or commission and bonuses (whichever is higher on a weekly basis).

    SUMMARY:
    The primary responsibility of the Ticket Sales Representative is to cater to our potential customers by building and enhancing the personal and business relationships by identifying and understanding their needs, then customizing recommendations to meet and exceed those needs. This is not a job in our box office. A very flexible schedule is required for rotating six-hour shifts five days a week. Ticket Sales Representatives must develop an intimate knowledge of MS&E's brands, products, and services as well the techniques and processes needed to effectively market and sell to our potential customers. The main focus will be to build our Sacramento Kings season, partial plan and group ticket business. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

  • Demonstrated alignment with the company's vision, mission and core values, and;
  • Selling the brands, products, and services of the organization, and;
  • Ongoing self-development.
  • Collaboration with key internal/external resources.
  • Key Responsibility Areas (KRA's):

  • Responsible for making approximately 400 weekly outbound calls to generate new relationships.
  • Builds relationships with prospects via telephone inquiries and enhances those relationships through in-arena appointments.
  • Responsible for meeting all individual performance and development goals within specified timeframes.
  • Obtains leads and answer any questions.
  • Actively participates in Team Member sales skills training and development opportunities and Team Member sales activities.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude; committed to teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills; customer service-oriented.
  • Track record of achieving quantifiable goals.
  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills.
